Q: Is the waterproof fabric that lines the bowl covers, snack bags and cheese bandanas machine washable and/or dryable?

A: Absolutely! That is the beauty of them. You can either wipe crumbs with a damp cloth, hand wash and hang to dry or machine wash and dry.

It's up to you!

Note: Hand-washing and hanging to dry will extend the life of these products.

Full Care Instructions:

Please do not put in oven, microwave, or dishwasher.

Hand wash/wipe clean or machine wash in warm with a gentle detergent. Do not use bleach or solvents to wipe or clean.

Use of solvents can cause brittleness and delamination of the vinyl in the treated areas.

Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Please do not dry in hot cycle.

CAUTION: Dryer heat should not exceed 180°F/80°C and it is important to allow the fabric to tumble through a cool down cycle in the dryer at the end.

Lining is food-safe, waterproof, phthalate free, BPA free, latex free and medical grade.

Q: Where is the waterproof food-safe fabric produced that you use?

A: Right here in Canada!

Q: Are the eco-friendly snack bags and bowl covers fully waterproof?

A: Not 100%, no. The fabric they are lined with is waterproof but the seams and closures are not water or air tight.

The bowl covers, though, do lock out quite a bit of air since they are a single piece of vinyl without seams and are held tight to the dish with elastic.

Q: Is the waterproof fabric lining food-safe?

A: Here is the info according to the manufacturers of ProCare:

Certified Safe: CPSIA compliant, meeting stringent standards by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission on lead and phthalates and flammability.
It is also certified for food contact and storage per 21 CFR 175.300 and 175.320 is compliant with CPSIA sections 101, 108 and 16 CFR Part 1303 for lead and phthalates and flammability for laminated textiles per 16 CFR Part 1615.
Super durability: The proven extrusion coating process creates a safe, waterproof barrier that is tested to remain supple and impermeable after more than 300+ commercial washings.
Can be wiped clean with sanitizer.

Fabric Content of vinyl lining:

75% vinyl (proprietary formulation), 25% polyester
